This Popular FASCA program makes reading much more interesting than it already is! Students are assigned books and articles from a wide selection. They are encouraged to read in groups and individually as their teachers would assign characters from the book to each student. Students would, then, write a few sentences about what they understood from the book. They may add drawings to enhance their reading summary. The emphasis is on learning new vocabulary and understanding the concept of the story as well as story telling skills.
