We here at The Imagination Tree, FASCA, take pride in the knowledge that children enjoy our robotics programs while learning about the complex relationship between parts in robots. Our programs are made so that children of all ages start with very simple mechanisms consisting of a few motors and gears and eventually build up to more complex structures with infrared controllers and circuit boards. The more advanced programs have these children working with the actual programming of the robot finally leading up to projects such as LEGO robotics and creation of robots from scratch.

Take home robotic toys you can build yourself! The Basic Robotics program is a wonderful way to begin your child's exploration in to the world of robotics. In the basic program we begin by teaching your child how two batteries, a motor, and 3 pens can make an artistic robot that draws elegant patterns. Projects vary from motor powered toy robots that walk and wobble, to robots that dance and draw. Watch as your child learn about physics, electronics, and how much they can make with their own two hands.
After successful completion of Basic Robotics, students are introduced to concepts of circuit boards and electronic components. Your child will learn proper handling and installation of delicate pieces that give their robots minds of their own! While these robots are more difficult to build, their functions are much more complex. Watch as they run away from sound or run along walls.
Experiment with one of the newest award-winning robots in the industry by building a Robotic Arm. You'll be able to command the gripper to open, close, rotate, and move with an extended reach. The arm can lift an object as heavy as one fourth of a pound. You can play soccer with 4 other players, race your all terrain vehicles, and compete with your tank. The advanced robotics program introduces more complex gear systems, infrared controllers, and circuitry all put together. This course is also useful for prospective trainers, teachers, parents, tutors, and assistants interested in learning about robotics.
